The National Black Nurses Association (NBNA) has announced that Dr. Carol J. Ratcliffe, Co-Leader of the Alabama Health Action Coalition (AL-HAC), as the recipient of the 2015 Nurse Educator of the Year award. The Alabama legislature has appropriated $166,027 for graduate scholarships for the 2015-2016 academic year. Registered nurses pursuing graduate degrees at Alabama schools are eligible to apply.
